Roedd Piers yn Arddwriaethydd Botanegol\/ Tyfwr Coed yng Ngardd Fotaneg Genedlaethol Cymru (GFGC) a mae ganddo wybodaeth eang o, a brwdfrydedd dwfn am blanhigion a gerddi.
