Frosty Morning

A sunlit park with tall trees casting long shadows on frost-covered grass. The ground path winds through the scene, and the bare branches hint at a cold winter morning.

Today winter has brought the first hard frost to the park, a welcome relief after all the rain. As the sun rose and the sky turned a vivid blue the grounds sparkled in the sunlight bringing lots of people out, cameras in hand, for a brisk walk around the grounds.

Three brown, frost-covered maple leaves rest on green moss and grass. The leaves show crisp edges and visible veins, contrasting with the soft, textured background.
