We are currently developing a range of learning resources based on our 5 themes here at the Park: A Sense of Place, A Park Through Time, Exploring the Landscape, Food for Thought & Saving the Environment. These will tie in with the 6 Areas of Learning in the new Curriculum for Wales and can be adapted for different levels and age ranges.
Our first learning pack is centred around the trees here at Parc Yr Esgob-Bishop’s Park. There are a range of cross-curricular activities included, with printable resources to support learning. The pack brings together activities and resources by other organisations that we work closely with, as well as original resources specifically developed for the Park. A taster of some of the resources and activities are available below. The complete pack can be purchased via email and hard copy is available to hire from Reception when you visit the Park.
If you would like purchase the complete tree pack or any of our other resources, or would like to discuss developing a specific resource with our Community Engagement and Learning Officer, please email FfionaJones@tywigateway.org.uk
In 2021 we made a film about the Park for primary children:
