Bishop’s Pond

It’s been a wonderful week in the Bishop’s Park. There’s more and more colour in the grounds as the rhododendrons come into flower and the water lilies that will cover the pond in their yellow flowers are starting to appear. The park is such as great place to work, not just because of the plants but also the wildlife, herons landed in the reeds just after taking this photo and the walk park to the palace was watched by a pair of red kites who were circling the east lawn, when you throw in the swifts that have started buzzing around the palace there is always something amazing to see.
