Storm Jonas Strikes

A muddy woodland path is partially flooded with rainwater, surrounded by bare trees and green undergrowth on a cloudy day.

As the latest winter storm swept over the site the Great Meadow was once again under water. This time however the water was so deep that the ha ha was breached over night and part of the lower grounds and circuit paths were flooded. By day break the water had dropped back but it was still close to the top of the ha ha even then.

Brown, muddy floodwater flows quickly around the trunks of several trees, rising close to the riverbank. The foreground shows wet, muddy ground with scattered leaves and small plants.
